I've been coding professionally for over 17 years spending 8 years at one company and now 7 years at my current employer. For a decade now I've been coding away mostly in C#, creating a lot of distributed data driven systems using WinForms early on then transitioning to ASP.NET. I've dabbled in everything from PHP on Apache to Java servlets using Tomcat.
I started coding in BASIC when I was around 12 years old using the Commodore PET. When I was able to save up enough money to buy a Commodore 64 it was heaven on earth :-) My first program was a NFL football season simulator which I started when I was around 15. I was the only one to ever use it, but I enjoyed it thoroughly.
My wife and I spend most of our time raising our two awesome boys. I love my wife and kids :-D
I'm not sure if this blog will go anywhere, but hey, you never know. So often I solve coding issues after finding a blog post and it is my hope this blog can serve that purpose for someone from time to time. If nothing else it has been a hobby I've been greatly enjoying.
Enjoy life! It is going by too fast :'(
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
